We walked about 5 miles around London this weekend.
Waterloo train station..
We were going to go to Masters Superfish (the name amused us, which I think was the main appeal) for fish and chips, but they were closed so we ended up eating lunch at a little restaurant in Waterloo.
Watched Final Fantasy: The Spirit Within in Leicester Square, ate ice cream at the Haagen-Dazs restaurant and then wandered aimlessly..
We took the bus back home and sat on the top level. I hadn't done that for ages.
Caught the tube to Baker St. and walked to Selfridges. We bought a box of freshly made turkish delights and some fresh feta cheese. Wandered around the Selfridges food hall for awhile. They have food from all around the world.. Lebanese, Japanese, Indian, French, etc.
Ate an early dinner at Wagamama..
Summer salad special: yasai soba salad:
Soba noodles with chicken, red peppers, pak choi, snow peas, spring onion, bean sprouts and chilli in a teriyaki, ginger and lime dressing
1 Asahi beer in two glasses.
Wandered some more around Soho and the surrounding area..
There have been Half-Life stickers all over London for the past 3 years, but the numbers are starting to dwindle.
I was supposed to leave London in June. Now by law I have to leave this month. I can't seem to break away.
It's so inviting, it remind me of St. Martin's Lane hotel here in London. You can adjust the light in the rooms to suit your mood and there's a multi-colored light bar.
The building in the photo belongs to the Evil Empire itself: Microsoft Headquarters, Soho branch. :)
